Cast photograph of 'Oh What a Lovely War' 1973
Well, before we all go off camping (whoops!) in summer, we’ll be back with you again in ‘Oh What a Lovely War’) The luminous Rabbit’s going absolutely megalo all over the place at the very prospect). All the old names (we’ve even persuaded Sheila Gall to leave her mountains alone for the occasion) and some new ones: Martin ‘ding-dong’ Bell, Mike ‘R.C.M.P.’ Titterton, and Euan ‘how’s yer clutch’ McGregor, and Shiela’s sister ‘Babs’ Smith are going to exhibit themselves on the boards for the first time. Oh, yes, and we’ve persuaded that divine little number Alison Burnett to come along and sing a couple of divine little numbers for us.
See you in the trenches, loves!

Backrow:- Marie Lambert, Mr. Young, Muriel Dymock, The Rector, Mr. A. Macfarlane, Mr. E. Sharp, Mrs. Joy Steele
Front row:- The 2 youngest first year pupils 1988/89, Caireen Crawford.and Damian Houston, and the oldest FP who was able to be present, the late Mr. Stephen from Broughty Ferry who entered Bell Baxter in 1908.
Can anyone remember where the Time Capsule is?
7 July 2012:
We received an email from Damian Houston as a result of him seeing this photograph and caption. He remembers adding items to the capsule and tells us that all present turned a screw to seal it. They then went to Westfield for a reception, but he doesnt remember the capsule being buried. He believes it was buried in the grounds of Westfield, but thinks that they were not told in case pupils should try to dig it up.
As far as he can remember the capsule was to be opened 50 years later.
